Heilder

Less noise, more impact

It was time for animation agency Heilder to give their website a new look. One that better suits the personality of the company. Additionally, it was also important that the new website was fully responsive. The end goal was a website that leads to a higher conversion rate.

Together we came up with a funnel in which we took into account the following phases of a potential customer journey, namely: attention, interest, desire, and action.

These stages, coined by Elias St. Elmo Lewis, are otherwise known as the AIDA model. The AIDA Model identifies the cognitive stages an individual goes through during the buying process for a product or service. It’s a purchasing funnel where buyers go through each stage, to support them in making the final purchase. It seemed perfectly fitting for what we were trying to accomplish with the new landing page.

Attention

Above the fold, we displayed the most important message. Webpage visitors are usually inclined to only scroll if they are convinced it will provide the answers they are looking for. So, it’s very important to attract their attention on the first glance. Suppose someone googled for: ‘getting an animation video made’. Then what would be the most important aspects that a visitor will consider? We found that displaying what Heilder stands for, and what Heilder does was the most important aspects here. Also, we made sure that without even having to scroll, people would be able to navigate to all other company highlights, such as an about us page, a way of working page, a project page, and of course, a dedicated contact button.

Interest

On the second section, just below the fold, we tried to generate an interest, by showing the benefits of the services Heilder has to offer. This should encourage a buyer to scroll even further.

Desire

By showing off all the beautiful content that Heilder has already created, we showed potential customers some social proof. Especially when people are uncertain, they will look to the actions and behaviors of others to determine their own. So, showing the work made for others that have gone before them, makes people are more likely to choose for Heilder too.

Action

At the end of the page all of your potential customers’ answers should have been answered and there should no longer be any reason not to take action. In this case that means contacting Heilder for an intake. It doesn’t get any easier than filling out a contact form.
